Why has the Incidence of Coronary Heart Disease Increased in Recent Years?
Coronary heart diseases take the first place among the causes of death in Western European Countries and America. In our country, there has been a significant increase in the number of heart diseases in recent years. The reasons for these increases can be listed as follows:
1- With the advances made in recent years, the diagnosis of heart diseases can be made earlier and more accurately, which shows that the number of patients is increasing. The fact that sudden deaths of unknown origin - which were seen in the past - are less common nowadays, confirms this.
