PURPOSE: Determining the rules that the companions must follow RESPONSIBLE PERSON: Patients/relatives, all hospital staff INSTRUCTION DETAILS: • The patient's relative who will accompany the patient is required to be able to meet the needs of the patient. • While there is no gender discrimination in single rooms, female companions are accepted for female patients and male companions are accepted for male patients for multiple rooms. • Since there is sufficient bedding to meet the needs of the patient's relatives who will accompany the patient in the patient rooms, external bedding is not accepted. • Meal service is provided to the patients’ relatives who are accompanying them. Therefore, it is not accepted to bring food from outside. • Doctor visit hours in our hospital are between 08:00-09:00 and 17:00:18-00. Outside of these hours, the meeting with the doctor should be done in the polyclinic room belonging to the doctor on the polyclinic floor. • Companions are not accepted for patients treated in intensive care units. Visiting hours are specified in the “Intensive Care Units Visiting Hours and Rules Instruction”. • Patient companions who do not comply with the accompanying rules, deliberately damage the building, equipment, goods, ignore the warnings, and cause complaints and discomfort of other patients (except for vital necessity) can be dismissed from the institution with the approval of the specialist doctor and chief physician. • The rules to be followed by the companions are specified on the website of our hospital.
